What laws can a state Fish and Wildlife officer enforce?
Fish and wildlife officers can enforce all laws. They are general-authority peace officers who have and exercise, throughout the state, the same police powers and duties as are vested in sheriffs and other law enforcement officers.
Fish and Wildlife officers are mainly responsible for enforcing Title 77 of the Revised Code of Washington which includes fish and wildlife laws and statues, all rules of the state Department of Fish and Wildlife and the state Fish and Wildlife Commission and other statutes as prescribed by the legislature.
