Two newborn endangered clouded leopard cubs are to make their first public appearance Saturday at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
Visitors will be able to see the 2-week-old cubs during their daily feeding times. The cubs, housed in the cub den of the Cats of the Canopy exhibit, are fed at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The cubs – a male and a female – were born March 6 at the zoo. They are the second litter for Chai Li and her mate Nah Fun. Chai Li gave birth to their first litter, Taji and Sumalee, in June.
The public can vote on the cubs’ names at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YF28QN3.
