A 27-year-old man was seriously injured Tuesday night after a high-speed crash in South Tacoma, police said Wednesday.
According to officers, the man was speeding north on South Fife Street just after 10 p.m. when the car hit the traffic circle at South Fife and South 64th streets. The car went airborne before landing on the street and sliding to a stop.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and suffered two broken legs and extensive facial injuries, police said. Paramedics took the man to St. Joseph Medical Center for treatment.
