Bridgette McGoldrick, a humanities teacher at Annie Wright Schools in Tacoma, recently was one of two teachers in the nation to be named a William and Virginia Banks Cannady visiting teacher to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in South Africa.
The Cannady fellowship competition is open to teachers at girls’ schools across the U.S. McGoldrick will participate in August.
