Local law enforcement officers are trying to identify a man suspected of stealing a car from the Pierce Transit Tacoma Dome Station on Tuesday.
The thief was captured by surveillance cameras. Surveillance images were released by the Lakewood Police Department on Thursday.
The suspect was seen stealing the car at the Tacoma Dome Station, 610 Puyallup Ave., about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Pierce County Auto Crimes Enforcement Task Force is investigating the theft. The task force asks anyone who recognizes the thief to call investigators at 253-830-5064 or Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
Crime Stoppers offers up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests and charges filed in unsolved cases. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
