Mayor Ray Harper said Chrystal McGlone, who worked as the clerk for about five years, allegedly misused a town credit card. Harper said there appears to have been a policy violation but no theft of town funds.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department says it has agreed to move its Mountain Detachment headquarters to Eatonville’s Town Hall, about three miles from its current location.
Pacific Mayor Cy Sun said today that he fired his city clerk, who he brought on after he fired her predecessor in July.
Pacific Mayor Cy Sun told two Seattle television stations Wednesday that he has asked former University of California-Davis police chief Annette Spicuzza, who retired after campus police used pepper spray on protesters, to be the interim head of the Pacific police force.
Town Councilman Gordon Bowman is one of three candidates so far who have filed to run for mayor of Eatonville, according to the Pierce County elections website.
For the second time since July, Pacific Mayor Cy Sun has fired the city’s clerk.
