Federal Way will hold its 25th annual Hooked on Fishing derby Saturday at Steel Lake Park.
The derby gives kids between the ages of 2 and12 the chance to catch trout right off the dock at Steel Lake.
All of the equipment needed will be provided by the Save Our Fish chapter of Puget Sound Anglers.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Fifteen fishing sessions are available, only one time slot per child. The sessions will be every 20 minutes from 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The park is located at 2410 S. 312th St., Federal Way.
