Things to do today and this week:

Let’s not forget it’s Memorial Day weekend. Here are a few events happening today through Monday for the holiday.

 • Take in the Arlington Northwest Memorial Display at Marine Park, 3932 Ruston Way, Tacoma where markers will be placed to commemorate fallen soldiers. It’s open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. today through Monday and it’s free. 253-355-2539, arlingtonnw.org.

 • Memorial Day Weekend Tributes features a bagpiper and dove release to remember fallen soldiers. The tributes are at noon today, 7 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W., Lakewood.  • Puyallup Memorial Day Observance 1-2 p.m. Monday at Pioneer Park Pavilion, 330 S. Meridian, Puyallup. 360-893-8022.

 • Annual Memorial Day Service 1:30-3 p.m. Monday, Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle. 206-362-5200, washelli.com.
