Dinner, auction help Bonney Lake team go to nationals

Eight students from Bonney Lake High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter have earned state championships qualifying them to compete at the national competition in Orland, Fla. There will be a benefit dinner and auction, with 100 percent of the funds raised to support the nationally bound team, at the Midtown Grill, 20609 State Route 410 E., Bonney Lake on Saturday.

Eight students from Bonney Lake High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter have earned state championships qualifying them to compete at the national competition in Orland, Fla. There will be a benefit dinner and auction, with 100 percent of the funds raised to support the nationally bound team, at the Midtown Grill, 20609 State Route 410 E., Bonney Lake on Saturday.

The Bonney Lake High School chapter members have donated thousands of service hours including coordinating blood drives, volunteering at local child care centers and supporting the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Share our Strength plus the No Hungry Kids program. Tickets for the 4 p.m. event are $30 and can be purchased at the high school.
