• Take in the Arlington Northwest Memorial Display at Marine Park, 3932 Ruston Way, Tacoma where markers will be placed to commemorate fallen soldiers. It’s open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m .today and it’s free. 253-355-2539,

• Memorial Day Weekend Tributes features a bagpiper and dove release to remember fallen soldiers. The tribute is at 2 p.m. today at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W., Lakewood. It’s open and free to the public. 253-584-0252,
