Police are questioning a man and a woman after two people were found dead in a home in Shelton early Monday.
Lt. Les Watson says investigators believe the two being interviewed may have information about the double homicide.
Officers responding to a report of gunshots about 1 a.m. found a man and a woman dead inside. They appear to have been shot. They have not been identified.
Watson says police served a search warrant on a nearby home Monday morning because of a connection between the victims and residents of that home.
A SWAT team surrounded that house and a stand-off ensued. Before police fired tear gas into the home, a woman, a teenage girl and two small kids exited the house. Police used tear gas, and detained the man and woman who eventually came out of the house.
