Man shot in argument over girlfriend at Federal Way motel
Last updated: May 29th, 2012 06:58 AM (PDT)

An apparent argument over a girlfriend led to a shooting at a Federal Way motel that left one man wounded Sunday night, a police spokeswoman said.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel in the 1600 block of South 348th Street for a report of a shooting, said the spokeswoman, Cathy Schrock.

Two males in their early 20s began arguing when one of them pulled out a handgun and shot the other man in the shoulder. A friend drove him to the nearby Walmart and called 911.

The victim and friend identified to police the alleged shooter, who hasn’t been arrested. Police continue to investigate.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
