 • The Habitat Restoration Event at Skookum Wulge and Sqally Beach. The work is from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 today at the Skookum Wulge Restoration Site, 4610 Marine View Drive, Tacoma. 253-383-2429, healthybay.org.

 • Reptiles are cold-blooded and full of scales, see and learn all about them at the Emerald City Reptile Expo. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at The Exhibition Hall at Seattle Center, 301 Mercer Street, Seattle. Admission is $10 a day.  • With a history steeped in the water, boating and everything related, the Maritime Gig Festival celebrates those roots at its annual festival featuring the Fun Run, the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the Grand Parade, the Round Rock Contest, music and entertainment, food vendors, historic boat displays, and loads of children’s activities. Hours are 8 a.m.-9 tonight and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday in historic downtown Gig Harbor. Admission is free.
