Last updated: June 2nd, 2012 12:17 AM (PDT)

Police in the south King County community of Pacific say they’ve arrested a 19-year-old man after a 13-year-old boy was found slain in a bedroom of his family’s apartment.

Officers say the 19-year-old is the boyfriend of the slain boy’s 16-year-old sister.

Pacific police spokeswoman Stephanie Shook said officers were called to the apartment complex about 3 a.m. Friday by a man who said his 13-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter were missing. Officers found the boy dead of unspecified “homicidal violence” in a bedroom.

Police located the girl and the suspect at the boyfriend’s home in nearby Algona. The girl was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

The dead boy was not immediately identified.

KOMO-TV reports the 19-year-old was arrested for investigation of murder, kidnapping and burglary.
