 • It’s all about dogs at the Washington State Scottish Terrier Club 67th Speciality Show taking place today at Puyallup Fair & Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. S.W., Puyallup. The free event is noon-5:30 today, wsstc.org.

 • Listen to the classical sounds of the TCC Choir Concert at its free 7:30 concert tonight. It’s at Tacoma Community College Auditorium - Bldg 2, 6500 S. 12th St., Tacoma. 253-460-4374, tacomacc.edu.

 • If you are a lover of the classic pinball machines and arcades, then you’ll want to take in the 2012 Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show starting today. It’s being held in the Northwest Rooms of the Seattle Center. Hours are noon-11:59 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $20 per day Friday/Saturday and $15 Sunday for adults, $15 per day Friday/Saturday and $10 Sunday for kids 6-14, and children 5 and younger are free, nwpinballshow.com.

    The public is invited to visit the Sikh temple, 176 E. Pole Road, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28.

    People of all denominations are welcome to see the temple and learn about the culture and religion. Free lunch will be provided both days.

The annual shorter, tamer version of the newly rebranded Washington State Fair runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds, offering fair mainstays such as carnival rides, scones, musical artists and vendors.
