The Exchange Club of Tacoma sponsors the A.C.E. scholarship program (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) to recognize and honor students who have in some way turned their lives around and have become eligible to graduate from high school. Many of these young people have overcome obstacles that most adults have never had to face.
This year’s winners are Christian Perez, Foss High School; Brendon Torrey, Mount Tahoma High School; Rochelle Sietz, Challenger High School, Spanaway; Nikole Jackson, Stadium High School; Ricardo Rodriguez, Gates High School, Franklin Pierce; Sarah Gangwish, Learning Opportunity Center, Fife; Annmarie Foltz, Wilson High School; Jenni Peskta, Henderson Bay High School, Gig Harbor; Ashley Yanez, Lincoln High School; Tasha Zibell, Oakland High School; Jacob Moody and Courtney Rodrigues, Walker High School, Puyallup.
