Local clergy will gather today for a brief spiritual ceremony at the South Hill home where two men were gunned down last month.

The Moment of Blessing for Travis Dennis, 32, and Jeffrey Poling, 36, will begin at 10 a.m. at Dennis’ home in the 9400 block of 175th Street Court East.

The men were killed inside the home and their bodies discovered May 28. Investigators have said that they believe the men were targeted but have made no arrests.

The Associated Ministries sponsors the Moment of Blessing ceremonies at locations in Pierce County where homicides have occurred. The ceremonies are intended to provide support for the victims’ families, friends and the community where the crime took place.

The ceremonies are open to the public.
