Morgan Stanley Smith Barney of Tacoma has hired Paul Wood as a financial adviser. He provides financial planning, investment and risk management services for individual investors and small-business owners in the South Sound. Wood has a bachelor’s degree from United States Military Academy and a master’s degree from University of Southern California. He also received a degree in master of strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.

AWARDS/RECOGNITION

Dorothy Lewis, president/CEO of Financial Insights Inc. of Tacoma, was recently invited to attend the “Best of the Best” financial advisers Barron’s Winner’s Circle Summit. She was one of 350 advisers to attend the invitation-only conference that brings together the industry’s leaders and provides a forum where they can address the key concerns of their clients and develop solutions to their financial planning needs. Lewis is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and has a master’s degree from the University of Washington.

Mike Politeo, Realtor with Coldwell Banker Bain of Tacoma, was recently awarded the Coldwell Banker Bain’s 2012 International Sterling Society Designation. The award is given to a select group of top sales associates and representatives from Coldwell Banker Bain and distinguishes Politeo as one of the top sales performers in the industry.
