Machinists reach tentative deal for six-year contract with Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines’ union machinists have reached a tentative deal with the airline on a new six-year contract, the union and the airline announced today.

The agreement, if approved in a ratification vote, would grant the airline’s 587 ramp service and stores workers a 10 percent wage increase over the life of the deal as well as long-term incentive bonuses, job security and productivity arrangements.
