Man killed, found in parked truck near Tacoma

Pierce County sheriff’s detectives have launched a homicide investigation after the body of a missing man was found Wednesday night in the back of his pickup truck at an apartment complex just outside of Tacoma.
Fred Gonzalez, a 35-year-old Puyallup resident, had been shot in the head, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reports.
