Puyallup High grad attends jazz workshop

Cameron Kerl, a graduating senior from Puyallup High School who plays trombone, has been selected to attend the Vail Jazz Workshop in Vail, Colo., this summer. The 10-day camp accepts the 12 best applicants from across the United States as nominated by music teachers, band directors and other qualified music professionals. The selection process consists of a phone interview, written recommendations and recorded audition.
