The husband and wife who died Saturday in an apparent murder-suicide have been identified as Laura Lindblad, 31, and Paul Lindblad, 39, Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock said.

Police believe Paul Lindblad shot his estranged wife, then himself, at a property in the 8000 block of Kerbaugh Road Northeast on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman for the Thurston County Sheriff's Office said that Laura Linblad had come to the residence Saturday to drop off the couple’s children to stay with Paul Lindblad over the weekend.

The children went to their grandparents’ house, located on the same property as their father’s, while the couple began arguing.

No other injuries were reported.
