Tacoma’s Steamers Cafe is celebrating the beginning of summer Wednesday by giving away ice cream.
Not just vanilla, but your choice of eight flavors. A cone or a dish. Best of all, you don’t have to buy a big dinner – or anything, for that matter – to collect on the restaurant’s offer.
"We had what seemed like 800,000 kids down here last year," said Steamers manager Michael Jafari, "so we thought it was worth doing again. We’re ready for a crowd."
