 • Learn all about that iconic slimy symbol of the Northwest at the annual Slug Fest at Northwest Trek. There will be fun family activities and more. Hours are 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Sunday. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, 11610 Trek Drive E., Eatonville. nwtrek.org.

 • The Puyallup Doll & Teddy Bear Show is this weekend. There will be collectors, vendors and more to see. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center, 110 Ninth Ave. S.W., Puyallup.
