Skate Creek Road work could mean short delays
Last updated: June 24th, 2012 12:31 AM (PDT)

Beginning on July 9 and continuing for about two weeks, Forest Road 52, also known as Skate Creek Road, will undergo surface repairs.

The work will be done between milepost 17.2 and milepost 18.7, immediately east of the Sethe Bridge, according to a news release. Traffic may experience delays for up to 30 minutes while this work is occurring.

The Gifford Pinchot National Forest road is a popular route from Ashford to Packwood south of Mount Rainier National Park. The area offers picnicking, camping and fishing opportunities.
