Sweep rescues 6 prostituted girls, nets 7 arrests of alleged pimps in Pierce, King counties

Six girls who had been prostituted, some for years, were rescued last week in Pierce and King counties during a sweep coordinated with a nationwide campaign.

Authorities also arrested seven people on suspicion of promoting commercial sexual abuse of a minor. Their names were not released.
