Teenager attacked outside Boys & Girls Club in Tacoma says assault might be gang retaliation

A 16-year-old boy and his girlfriend were attacked in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot at 1620 S. 17th St. this morning, in what the male victim told Tacoma Police might have been gang retaliation.

A 16-year-old boy and his girlfriend were attacked in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot at 1620 S. 17th St. this morning, in what the male victim told Tacoma Police might have been gang retaliation.

The couple were approached by five men and two women about 1 a.m., who began punching and kicking the victims for no apparent reason, Tacoma police say.
