 • The free family friendly SummerFEST 2012 will take over Fort Steilacoom Park, 8698 87th Ave. S.W., Lakewood for two days. There will be a KIDZ Zone, a public market, live entertainment from two stages, a three-on-three basketball tournament, a 5K fun-run and more.  • The Tacoma Rose Society is holding its Annual Rose Show. The flowers will be on display from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Jackson Hall, 314 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma. Admission is free, tacomarosesociety.org.

 • The Tacoma Twilight Criterium 2012 cycling event is today from 4:30-9 p.m. in the Proctor District, North 26th and Proctor, Tacoma. It’s free, tacomatwilight.com.
