Closures planned for eastbound state Route 16 in Tacoma

As part of the ongoing project to improve Tacoma’s Interstate 5/Highway 16 interchange, crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation have scheduled several nighttime closures over the next two weeks.

As part of the ongoing project to improve Tacoma’s Interstate 5/Highway 16 interchange, crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation have scheduled several nighttime closures over the next two weeks.

The most notable closure will be all lanes of eastbound Highway 16 approaching the Nalley Valley Viaduct.
