Suspect stabs self following standoff with Federal Way police

A 911 hang-up call drew police to a Federal Way home around 2 a.m. Sunday, and upon arriving, police heard a woman screaming inside the home.

According to Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock, as police attempted to make contact with the woman, she ran out of the house in the 3900 block of Southwest 328th Place and told officers that her husband was inside the house with their four children. She said he was armed with a knife.
