Tacoma’s Mandolin Cafe to close Sunday

Owners of the Mandolin Cafe in Central Tacoma have announced that Sunday, July 15, is the business’ last day.

In a letter to customers, Mandolin owner Tom Montante confirmed that the building’s sale last month will lead to the restaurant’s closure. According to the letter, the new owners are a couple who own a sushi restaurant in DuPont and may intend to open another location in the Mandolin’s current space at 3923 So. 12th St.
