The state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction recently released its list of statewide school performance in low-income schools, as required by the federal government. The list covers schools that receive federal Title I funding, which goes to high-poverty schools.
The Clover Park School Board will hold a special meeting/ workshop at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 26 in room 4 at the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive SW in Lakewood.
Four local school districts have made the College Board’s Advanced Placement Honor Roll.
A Lakewood school and a Tacoma teacher will be honored at the 2012 Golden Apple Awards ceremony Feb. 1.
Nearly 100 schools across the state, including several in the South Sound, have been recognized as 2012 Schools of Distinction for improving student achievement.
