A man with a canister of pepper spray robbed a Tacoma convenience store just before midnight Thursday.
The robber entered a 7-Eleven store in the 7200 block of South Tacoma Way, threatened to pepper spray the clerk and demanded money, according to Tacoma police. He took money from two registers, put it in a backpack and ran away, police said.
Police were unsure how much money he took.
Officers brought in a dog to track the robber, but were not able to find him.
