Live outdoor concerts, as part of the 10th annual Kenmore Summer Concert Series at Saint Edward State Park, continues on Thursday. Music styles from around the world energize the outdoor stage, offering family-friendly summer entertainment at the park along the shore of Lake Washington.
The concerts are held from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 16 at the park, 14445 Juanita Drive N.E., Kenmore.
Visitors are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs for lawn seating. Food is available for purchase at the event. A Discover Pass is not required to attend this event. The City of Kenmore has covered the access fee for event attendees as part of the event contract lease.

Aug. 2: Modern acoustic Americana by Joy Kills Sorrow
Aug. 9: Folk rock by the Moondoggies
Aug. 16: Sensational soul funk revue by the Arzelia Jones Experience, featuring Soul Provider

Saint Edward State Park is a day-use park with 3,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Washington. The Late Romanesque Revival style seminary building, designed by Seattle architect John Graham, sits amid expansive park grounds that include a stand of forest with hiking trails to the shores of the lake.
ALTAIR CLOSED
The Altair Campground at Olympic National Park will remain closed through July 31.
Contractors are using a series of controlled blasts to lower the Glines Canyon Dam this month, necessitating a safety-related closure of the campground. The controlled blasting results in a sudden water release larger than the hydraulic hammer previously used to remove the dam.
