The work will include replacing the roof and the heating and cooling system, improving ventilation in the restrooms and installing a central customer service desk, a news release said.

After more than six years of fundraising, the last contribution to a new Ferndale library might come from the city's voters.
The state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that it’s chosen 70 bridges to be replaced or repaired with $130 million from the Federal Highway Fund.
The Sumner branch of the Pierce County Library System will host a self-publishing workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 18.
