2 more charged in Spanaway imprisonment case

Pierce County prosecutors have charged two more people in a case where two women were imprisoned and assaulted in a Spanaway apartment earlier this month.

Hali Ann Reeves, 19, and Willie Justin Cantrell, 18, both face charges of unlawful imprisonment and first-degree robbery.

Last week, prosecutors charged Douglas Alfred Bischoff, 24, and Carlos Aguirre, 18, in the case. Bischoff was arrested Wednesday night after a six-hour standoff with a Pierce County sheriff’s SWAT team.

Bischoff allegedly met two women at a store and brought them back to his apartment to drink alcohol. Reeves, Cantrell and Aguirre were already there.

According to charging papers:

Bischoff used a stun gun to shock one of the women. He then handed the stun gun to Reeves, who tried to shock the second victim. The two women struggled and Bischoff intervened and punched a victim in the mouth.

The second victim made a run for the door, but Bischoff grabbed her hair and was so enraged that she had defended herself against Reeves that he punched her several more times.

Prosecutors noted that Bischoff weighs 270 pounds and the victim weighs 135 pounds.

The first victim tried to help her friend but was held back by Cantrell and Aguirre.

Bischoff then armed himself with a handgun, stole the victim’s purse and forced one of the victims to braid his hair. He then handed over their car keys and told them to leave, threatening their families if they went to the police.
