Men from Auburn, Spokane arrested after Montana purse-snatching

Two 23-year-old Washington state men are charged with robbery after a purse-snatching outside a southwestern Montana grocery store.

Gallatin County Justice of the Peace Bryan Adams set bail at $100,000 for Kenneth M. Lohman of Auburn, Wash. He is charged with knocking down an elderly woman in Belgrade on Sunday afternoon and grabbing her pursue.

The woman tried to reach into the car to retrieve her purse, but officers say Joshua Norman Bolton of Spokane, Wash., sped up and knocked her to the ground. His bail was set at $150,000.

Officers tell the Bozeman Daily Chronicle a 16-year-old girl who was taken into custody when the men were arrested after a high-speed pursuit is not being charged and will be turned over to her mother.
