Two 23-year-old Washington state men have been charged with robbery after a purse-snatching outside a southwestern Montana grocery store.

Gallatin County Justice of the Peace Bryan Adams set bail at $100,000 for Kenneth M. Lohman of Auburn. He is charged with knocking down an elderly woman Sunday in Belgrade and grabbing her purse.

She tried to reach into the car to retrieve her purse, but officers say Joshua Norman Bolton of Spokane sped up and knocked her to the ground. His bail was set at $150,000.

A 16-year-old girl taken into custody when the men were arrested after a high-speed pursuit was not charged and will be turned over to her mother.
