Tacoma council to issue watered-down medical cannabis proposal

Fearing the potential for legal fallout, Tacoma’s City Council is backing away from a zoning and land use plan that calls to allow medical marijuana dispensaries and collective gardens to operate in the city.

Instead, the council is planning to introduce a far more watered-down proposal that would provide rules for operations of collective gardens only.
