President Barack Obama will visit Washington next week as part of a five-state trip that will have a mix of public events and fundraisers.

President Barack Obama will visit Washington next week as part of a five-state trip that will have a mix of public events and fundraisers.

Obama will be in Seattle on Tuesday night for two fundraising events. He'll start his trip Monday with visits to Reno, Nev., for an official event, then and Oakland, Calif., for three fundraisers. On Tuesday, he'll speak at an event in Portland and will discuss the economy. He'll attend two fundraisers in Portland before heading to Seattle.

He'll travel to New Orleans on Wednesday for an official event, and will later host two fundraisers there.
