7 arrested after brawl at UW fraternity

Police say two people were injured seriously enough in brawl at a University of Washington fraternity to be taken to a hospital for treatment.

Seven people were arrested after the Wednesday night fight in which a group forced its way into the Seattle fraternity house armed with pepper spray, bottles, a fire extinguisher and brass knuckles.

They fought with residents on several floors of the home. Three residents suffered from pepper spray exposure and three were cut with glass from broken bottles.

Police say the fight was the result of a dispute between one of the intruders and several residents. Officers found brass knuckles on one of the suspects and also collected a bloody fire extinguisher as evidence.

The seven suspects were jailed for investigation of burglary.
