WSP looking for suspect of hit and run off Marvin Road

CHELSEA KROTZER

The Washington State Patrol is looking for the driver of an SUV that hit a man walking along Marvin Road Thursday night.

The man was headed south on Marvin Road near Union Mills Road at 10:15 p.m., walking opposite of traffic on a "very wide, well-lit, paved shoulder," according to Trooper Guy Gill.

A person in a red or maroon SUV driving north veered off the road onto the shoulder and hit the man head on, knocking him down and driving over him before leaving scene.

WSP is looking for witnesses or anyone who has seen a maroon or red SUV with "new and suspicious damage" on it.
