Get out your lawn chairs and blankets for a couple of local outdoor summer concerts today:

 • Darren Motamedy will perform at part of the Kent Summer Concerts series at noon today at Kent Station Plaza, 417 Ramsay Way. Free; 253-856-5050, kentarts.com.

 • Summer Sounds at Skansie will feature The Beatniks in a 6:30 concert tonight at Skansie Brothers Park, Jerisich Dock, 3207 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor.

 • Trivia buffs, gather up your friends or join other fans to make up teams for the five-category Trivia Night at The Swiss Tavern tonight from 7-9. Entry fee is $2 per person; cash prizes are awarded. The Swiss Tavern, 1904 S. Jefferson Ave., Tacoma; theswisspub.com/calendar.htm.
