Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed all Washington State and U.S. flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of those killed in the Colorado theater massacre.

Twelve people were fatally shot at a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Col. Another 58 were wounded, including seven critically.
