A 45-year-old Tacoma man was arrested Monday after allegedly holding up a KeyBank branch and trying to get away on a mountain bike.

The robber walked into the bank at 2633 N. Pearl St. about 4 p.m., approached a teller and demanded money, police said. After receiving cash, he fled on the bike.

Officers responded within three minutes and found the suspect pedaling south on North Pearl Street, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

The money was recovered and the man arrested.
