An 18-year-old drowned while swimming with friends Tuesday evening in Long Lake near Port Orchard.

Witnesses had pulled the man from the water and were giving him CPR when firefighters arrived.

South Kitsap Fire Battalion Chief Jon Gudmundsen estimated he had been under water about 10 minutes.

The Kitsap Sun reports Zerian D. Moore of Port Orchard was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton where he died.
