Pierce County prosecutors have charged a Tacoma man with robbing two banks in the last week.

Kevin Felkins, 45, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two counts of first-degree robbery during his arraignment.

He was arrested Monday while pedaling his mountain bike away from a KeyBank branch at 2633 N. Pearl St. Police said they recovered stolen money and a discarded wig and clothing the robber was wearing when he demanded money from a teller.

The other robbery occurred Friday at a KeyBank branch at 1425 E. 72nd St. The robber was wearing the same wig and similar clothing as in the earlier holdup, police said.

When confronted by police after his arrest, Felkins said, “I guess I’ve been had,” charging papers state.
