A 23-year-old man suspected of firing a shotgun at two Auburn police officers was arrested early this morning.

Police were about to contact a suspicious male at 12:45 a.m. in the 100 block of 11th Street SE when the man allegedly shot at the first officer, striking the driver’s side windshield as the officer tried to get out of his patrol car.
