 • Participants will travel from Eastern Washington and Oregon as well as throughout the local area to show their talents at the 15th annual Puget Sound Koi Club Young Koi Show today and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Hoshi Koi, 5002 44th St. E., Tacoma. It’s free. 253-370-1989, pskc.us.

 • University Place Festival will feature two stages of music with a variety of family entertainment, vendors, food, arts and crafts, and family activities today starting at 10 a.m. It’s being held at Cirque Bridgeport Park, 7250 Cirque Drive W., University Place.

 • Help support the Dugan Foundation at Woofstock 2012 Animal Adoption & Music Festival today. More than 109 animals found homes at last year’s event. Spread out among 30 booths, more than 200 pets are ready to meet their new families. It’s 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University of Puget Sound, 1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma. Admission is free, duganfoundation.org.
