CONSTRUCTION

Rushforth Construction Co. of Tacoma recently hired Jerry Eubanks as director of operations. He has more than 20 years’ experience in construction management on numerous complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. Most recently, Eubanks worked for more than two years in Afghanistan as the area construction manager for the U.S. military base construction of trauma centers, billeting and tactical operations centers. Before that, he was a project executive with Hunter Roberts Construction Group in Charlotte, N.C., and held a number of construction management positions with firms in California, Arkansas and South Carolina.

HOSPITALITY

Pacific Grill Events & Catering in Tacoma has added to its staff.

Kelly Jardine is the new banquet manager. She has 36 years in the restaurant/catering business and was previously a self-employed caterer for 16 years. She also opened a full-service catering operation and oversaw operations for more than two years, including kitchen design, menu planning, permitting process, event planning, food preparation and front of house staff.

Brian Nathanson has been hired as executive chef. He oversees the kitchen operations for Pacific Grill Events & Catering as well as Classics by Pacific Grill cafe in LeMay - America’s Car Museum.

Nathanson is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the Culinary Arts Center in Cerritos, Calif. He has more than 30 years’ experience, including as executive chef for 12 years with catering by McCormick and Schmick’s at the Museum of Flight in Seattle plus executive chef positions with Chambers Lodging, Special Events Catering, Intercontinental Hotel Group and others.

WEB DISIGN

SiteCrafting Inc., of Tacoma recently hired Beverly McCarter as a project manager. Her responsibilities include overseeing the life cycle of each Web project and work order, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and tracking project budgets. McCarter received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
